Fall Protection

The University of Texas at Austin has new safety requirements regarding Fall Protection. Fall Protection applies to all UT Austin campuses for students, staff, and faculty working at heights 4 feet and above, who are not working on a ladder. Ladders that are less than 25 feet in height are not subject to this requirement. Please consult our ladder safety page. For specific questions, please contact EHS Campus and Occupational Safety or your Department Safety Coordinator. Contractors should follow current industry standards.
