Chemical Surplus

Many usable, surplus chemicals are disposed of as hazardous waste or sit unused in labs taking up valuable space. To prevent this waste of space, chemicals, and hazardous waste disposal costs, Green Labs has created the Surplus Chemical program.

Researchers can donate and request usable chemicals (free of charge) through the program. If you are interested in donating or requesting chemicals, please contact Green Labs. Follow the Surplus Chemical Decision Tree to determine which chemicals are eligible for donation. Currently, only PIs and Lab Safety Contacts are able to donate and request chemicals. Lab Safety Contacts, always consult the Principal Investigator (PI) of the lab before donating or requesting any chemicals.
