Any and all radiation producing equipment or radioactive materials that will be located on UT Austin campuses must be approved by the Radiation Safety Office prior to use. This includes equipment owned and operated by non-UT personnel that is temporarily on campus for a specific event or task. The Radiation Safety Office has information on how to obtain permission to conduct operations that use radioactive materials or radiation producing devices.
